Melanie Buhlmann of Edith Cowan University sent CoNSA the email below regarding a research project:
Dear Colleague,
I am a PhD Candidate at the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Edith Cowan University (ECU) in Western Australia, conducting a research study on the organisational support for nurses and midwives in Australia, following clinical incidents.
I am writing to seek your assistance in promoting my research study within your membership please.
We are seeking nurses and midwives who have been involved in a clinical incident to complete an online survey:https://eaecu.au1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_dhTW8TmCefLVJt4.
Study Purposes
This study explores the availability and effectiveness of organisational support designed to meet the needs of nurses and midwives following involvement in clinical incidents across various settings in Australia.
It is anticipated that the findings of this study will provide a valuable source of guidance for healthcare leaders, managers and other clinicians about effective support following clinical incidents, which may counteract the potentially unsettling experience and retain nurses and midwives in our health workforce.
Please find attached promotional flyer, researcher biosketch and participant information letter (Links below).
